YUM… Let’s cook up a few great kitchen and pantry organizing tips!
Eating breakfast every single day, sets the stage for a good day. Studies have shown that people who eat breakfast regularly have more energy and a better mood throughout the day. Plus, a daily breakfast gives your metabolism a boost. Breakfast is essential if you want to have an active metabolism. People who don’t eat breakfast often eat more calories throughout the day, thus they gain weight faster. So with all of that I always say, “I NEVER skip breakfast, it’s the most important meal of the day”!
A proper home bar is one thing every grown-up home should have. Even if you don’t drink, you might want to have something on hand to offer guests. And if nothing else, a home bar can add an unexpected cool design element to any space.
When baking a pie, allow it to cool for an hour after taking it out of the oven. This will help it aesthetically and give the filling enough time to set. It will be cool enough to eat, yet still a little warm 🥧
Everyone has a dream of making the world a better place. We all want a world where there is no poverty, diseases, and crime. Giving to a nonprofit organization is not a business transaction, it is a connection with humans in the world. There are many different nonprofit organizations that are working for different causes. If we want to make this world a better place than donating to a nonprofit organization, I think is a great solution. And the best part is the feeling that you get from giving, it’s priceless!
Poke bowls are a great healthy option. They are usually very high in protein, heart healthy fats from fish, avocado and seeds and packed full of fiber from all the veggies and whole grains. Plus, they loaded with vitamins and antioxidants. Since most poke bowl restaurants often let you construct your own bowl, this is great, as it means you can tailor them to your preferences and also pick the healthier options. Just always be mindful of your portion size.
A big meal is a great way to spend quality time with family and friends. But hosting a dinner can make it difficult for the host to stay involved in the festivities. You want to make sure the dinner flows naturally and is enjoyable for all of your guests, as well as yourself. By planning ahead you can help minimize your stress the day of the meal. 1). Prepare a menu and make a timeline for the big day 2) Make sure your menu accommodates dietary restrictions 3) Keep the guest list manageable 4) Clean and iron all of your linens in advance 5) Set the table the day before and have your centerpiece and/or decor ready to go 6) Do as much food prep and cooking in the days prior to the holiday 7) Pick out what you are going to wear in advance
